Garbo: Portraits From Her Private Collection Rizzoli: 2005

Written as a companion to a traveling museum exhibit this book is out of print. I have created two ebook versions. One recreates the entire book as originally published. However, the cost of adding the photos to the ebook in their original resolution would make the pricing stratospheric. The resolution is fine for reading on an e-reader. If you want the rich printing of the photos as in the original book, you have to buy a used copy.

The second ebook is titled The Essays from Garbo: Portraits From Her Private Collection. This is a short collection of the two essays in the original book, by Robert Dance and me, with just a few photos. I made this available for people that are interested in what we wrote. Since I didn’t have to pay for digital the space for so many photographs, this book of essays sells for a lower price.

Both Robert and I have learned more about Garbo since 2005, and if I wrote the book today it would be slightly different. Instead of editing the old book, I am writing a new Garbo biography.

Both ebooks are only available in English. The original was available in English, Swedish, German and French.
